We plan to depart from the River Orwell in May 2010 and travel round Britain anticlockwise, heading North up the East Coast of England.
Once we reach Inverness we will come down through the Caledonian Canal and arrive on the West Coast of Scotland at Fort William.
We then (time and weather permitting) plan to spend a bit of time exploring the Western Isles before heading down the East Coast of Ireland.
From Southern Ireland we will nip across to Milford Haven, in Wales before hopefully going on to enjoy a few days in the Scilly Isles (again weather dependent).
We will complete the circumnavigation by sailing along the South Coast of England (perhaps with a pit stop in France or the Channel Islands) before rounding the corner and crossing the Thames to arrive back in the Orwell by August.
